Smart ZigBee temperature controller
A battery-powered room temperature controller with E-Paper display, connected to Home Assistant over Zigbee.

Context
A low-power, connected way to set and monitor room temperature with a clear always-on display.
Contribution
Developed the hardware and firmware on an ESP32-C6 with a BME280 sensor and E-Paper display, designed the PCB in EAGLE, and built a custom 3D-printed enclosure.
Outcome & learning
A deep-sleep device showing temperature, humidity, battery level, and setpoint, controllable by physical buttons and integrated with Home Assistant via Zigbee.
